Moose are the largest members of the deer family, ranging in height from 5 to 6.5 feet.
They have a prominent shoulder hump and a flap of skin under their neck called a “bell” which helps differentiate them from elk and deer.
They leave similar damage as deer since they also lack upper incisors, however they prefer to browse on higher shrubs, trees and grasses due to their size.
In the summer, they enjoy spending time in water eating aquatic plants, above and below the surface.
