Thank you so much for your generous donation of $349.95 of Plantskydd Soluble Powder concentrate for the fresh produce crops grown by Jim Renshaw for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania. Your contribution will be put to work helping supply food and other grocery items to families, children, seniors and individuals who are facing difficult circumstances.
Second Harvest is the only food bank in our region and the main distribution center for 445 charitable member agencies located in our 11 county service area. Our work is essential to our network of food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters, as no other nonprofit is capable of handling millions of pounds of grocery products each year.
You can be assured your gift is bring used in the most effective way. For every $1 donated to Second Harvest, we are able to provide 5 meals to our neighbors in need. Additionally, Second Harvest is honoured to be recognized for sound fiscal management by Charity Navigator for the eleventh time in a row, having once again received the coveted 4-star rating from America’s premier charity evaluator. This placed us in the top 1% of all charities nationwide.
