Moose will devastate fruit trees in just one visit!

I live in Wasilla Alaska and have a small orchard of which I am quite proud. We have lots of moose here and they will devastate fruit trees in just one visit!

I have tried 8′ wire fencing, which they leap or push over, and a variety of repellants to include wolf urine; all marginally effective at best.

Last year I sprayed my fourteen trees and my neighbor’s single apple tree with Plantskydd. A large moose wandered through my orchard, sniffing every tree, but didn’t take a bud! Later my neighbor’s wife told me she had watched a big moose sniffing their apple tree and was amazed when it moved on without doing any damage.

Just thought you’d like to know.
