Moose

• Moose are the largest members of the deer family, ranging in height from 5 to 6.5 feet.
• They have a prominent shoulder hump and a flap of skin under their neck called a “bell” which helps differentiate them from elk and deer.
• They leave similar damage as deer since they also lack upper incisors, however they prefer to browse on higher shrubs, trees and grasses due to their size.
• In the summer, they enjoy spending time in water eating aquatic plants, above and below the surface.
